If it’s your first year at PCC, get involved with First Year Experience. It offers a package of services that include:College Survival and Success, campus activities, and advising to introduce you to PCC and the skills fundamental to college success.
Meet other first-year students like yourself and learn how to succeed at PCC! This is the foundation you need to be successful at PCC.

College Survival and Success
Get on the right track; get money for next term! College is an investment of both time and resources, so learn how to do it right! CG100c, College Survival and Success, helps students build skills that are necessary for success in college and in life. First-year students who complete CG100c with a grade equivalent to C or higher will be eligible one time to receive a one-credit tuition voucher good for the next term!
The voucher, equivalent in value to one-credit at the current in-district tuition rate, will be automatically applied to the term immediately following the completion of CG100c course. Eligible students who complete CG100c during spring term and do not attend in summer will have the option to use the voucher the following fall term. No other exceptions apply. Vouchers are non-transferrable and may not be redeemed for cash or as payment for past due charges.
College Survival and Success CG 100C is a one-credit course designed to help you:
- Develop college goals and learn about degree options
- Use PCC online services to access college resources
- Understand college policies and procedures and access student services
- Don’t delay, register today!
