Grades
PCC
classes are graded on an A, B, C, D and F scale. Make sure to let your instructor know if you have
questions about how a class is being graded. If you want to take a class Pass/No Pass, you must
make arrangements with your instructor during the first 8 weeks of the class. Other grading options may be an option, please refer to the Academic Policy Handbook before contacting an academic advisor or your instructor.
Here are some suggestions:
- Talk with your instructor about your progress in class and grades you've earned for previous assignments.
- Keep hard copies and a log of all your graded assignments, so you can assess your progress throughout the term.
- Before you start next term, make sure to check your grades from this term. Grades are posted one week after finals. Check your grades in MyPCC under the
tab. If you have a grade discrepancy, be sure to talk with your instructor, an Academic Advisor or Counselor immediately.
