Midterm is a good time to reflect on your classes and prepare for the last half of the term and beyond. Make sure you are ready to move on by clicking on "Yes" or "No" to answer the questions below.

Ready for Midterms?
Yes: You can always check out our Tutoring Services, located on each campus for help with classes and writing papers. If you would like test taking tips or study help, visit any Counseling office and meet with a counselor for assistance.

Need Help in Your Classes?
Yes: If you are having trouble in a class, make sure to get help before it is too late. Getting to know your instructor and talking with her or him about a problem as soon as you can will help you decide what to do. Academic advisors and counselors can also give you advice on what to do, and the earlier you talk with someone, the more options you have.
No: Did you know that getting to know your instructor can help you better succeed in your classes? Academic advisors and counselors are also here to help get you the resources you need to succeed.
Thinking of Withdrawing From a Class?
Yes: Before you withdraw from a class, make sure to understand all your options and the impact they could have on your student record and account. Week 8 of the term is crucial. The Friday of that week is the last time you can withdraw from a class with a grade of “W” instead of an "F" or "NP" on your transcript. If you have Financial Aid or any other type of aid make sure to talk with the appropriate office before you withdraw from your class. Withdrawing could impact your aid. Academic Advisors and Counselors can help you figure out with whom you should talk.

Yes: Registration for next term will begin while you are still in classes! Be ready for registration by seeing an Academic Advisor for next term or long-term planning. Do You Know if You Have Holds?
Yes: Holds can prevent you from registering or accessing your information. To check for holds, log into MyPCC and go to the Registration Services channel on the College Business tab.

Have You Checked Your Term Grades?
Yes: Before you start next term, make sure to check your grades from this term. If you have a grade discrepancy, be sure to talk with your instructor, an Academic Advisor or Counselor immediately.
