First Week Checklist
Make sure you are on the right track and don’t miss important deadlines! Answer the questions
below by clicking on "Yes" or "No".
- Need to Pay Your Bill?
- Yes: Tuition is due on the first Saturday after the term starts.
(The Saturday in Week 1 of classes.) You can pay your bill online using PCC-Pay
in MyPCC or go to any campus Business Office (note: Business Offices are not
open Saturdays). For more information on deadlines, shorter term classes and
payment options, visit the Tuition and Fees or
log into MyPCC and look on the
tab. - No: Don't forget that you have the option to pay your bill online using PCC-Pay in
MyPCC. For more information on deadlines, shorter term classes

tab. - Adding a Late Class?
- Yes: If you want to add a class after it has already started, you will need the instructor's signature on a Registration Change form. Forms can be found at any Registration or academic department office. Make sure to drop the form off at a Registration Office after it has been signed by the instructor. If you add a course after the first week of the term, you will be charged a late add fee. View Registration Policies for more details.
- No: Don't forget that you can always look at your detailed schedule in MyPCC
under the
tab. - Do You Have Your Student ID Card?
- Yes: Great! Don’t forget to validate your ID card each term you register for classes. Validation Stickers are available for registered students at the Registration and Business offices.
- No: You can obtain and validate a PCC ID card at any campus Registration Office. The first time you request an ID card it is free. You do not need a new card each term; a validation sticker, available at the Registration Office, validates the card each term you register for classes.
- Need Additional Help?
- Yes: Remember that there are many offices and departments here to help you.
If you have questions about tutoring, study skills or even career planning, please ask your
instructors or any PCC staff member for a point in the right direction. For a list of departments
and services please log onto MyPCC and visit the Student Services channel under the
tab. Additionally, if you have a question about PCC, you can Ask the Panther (found in the right hand column of Panther Tracks and in MyPCC). - No: In case you need help later, remember that there are many offices and

- Dropping a Class?
- Yes: To drop a class you may either go to any campus Registration Office (Monday
through Friday) or log into MyPCC and go to the Registration Services channel
under the
tab. To receive a 100% tuition refund and not receive a W 'Withdraw' grade, full
term classes must be dropped by the first Saturday of the term. Other deadlines
may apply to shorter term classes. Visit the Adding and Dropping Classes page
for more information. - No: Make sure to verify your class schedule before the drop deadline. You don't want
to end up paying for a class you are not taking! To drop a class you may either
go to any campus Registration Office (Monday through Friday) or log into MyPCC
and go to the Registration Services channel under the
tab. To receive
a 100% tuition refund and not receive a W 'Withdraw' grade, full term classes
must be dropped by the first Saturday of the term. Other deadlines may apply to
