Disability Counseling Services

Each campus Counseling Department has counselors who specialize in working with students with disabilities. These counselors evaluate disability documentation and determine eligibility for services, determine appropriate academic accommodations, and provide support for disability-related counseling issues including:

  • accommodation planning and scheduling
  • learning strategies and study skills
  • consultation and collaboration with faculty and students regarding reasonable accommodations, program development, and disability-related considerations
  • information related to accessibility and civil rights
  • disability management and how it may impact your access to college programs
  • college adjustment
  • referrals to campus and community support services
