Applying for Services

It is the student's responsibility to initiate services by contacting the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD). It is recommended that students begin the accommodation request process immediately after class registration, and before the term begins.

Students must do the following:

  • Schedule an appointment with an OSD counselor. You can contact the main OSD office to schedule an appointment.
  • Provide required documentation that establishes the existence of a disability, and supports the need for the accommodations requested.
  • Request accommodations formally from an OSD counselor each term.
  • Follow the specific procedures and timelines for each service or accommodation as outlined in the OSD handbook.
