Curriculum Overview
Each session of the Oregon Leadership Institute has a theme and specific intentions within the overall OLI mission and introduces students to concepts and practices they can begin to apply to their lives and their relationships. Engaging community presenters alternate with relevant physical activities to create enjoyable and meaningful Saturdays. Topics are reintroduced and reinforced throughout the year, a spiral that encourages reflection and increased familiarity. The program is structured to foster communication, interaction, and activities with mentors and students between sessions. The environment is designed to develop relationships and provide ongoing support for the students.
