The Cascade Computer Resource Center has over 100 PC computers available for use by currently registered students, faculty and/or staff. Each computer has installed a variety of applications used for instructional purposes at the Cascade Campus and can be accessed after completion of a short orientation.
We also have available two dedicated scanner stations.

Orientation and Account Activation
Each year, students need to complete an online orientation on any computer at a Computer Resource Center or PCC library to establish a lab login. This is the same login and password students will use for GoPrint printing. Only currently enrolled students are eligible to take the orientation and create a login.
Each term, students will need to re-activate their accounts using the "Update Account" button on the screen. Once activated, the CRC account is valid for the CRC and library at any PCC campus for the duration of the term.
Working at the Cascade CRC
Each term, the Cascade CRC hires Lab Assistants to help in the CRC and other computer labs around campus. We need people with good customer service skills as well as knowledge of the computer programs and systems (MyPCC, Desire2Learn, etc.) in use here at PCC. You can download an application form here [pdf] and return it to the CRC before the end of any term. Beginning in the Fall 2008 term, we will be accepting applications for work study students throughout the term. The PCC Financial Aid web site has information on the Federal Work-Study Program.

Technology Request Form
If you are an instructor or other staff member of Portland Community College and you need an application installed or a configuration change on one of our computerized classrooms or labs, please fill out the Technology Request Form.
When finished, please send the Technology Request Form to the Technology Coordinator: Gary Eaton. The Technology Request Form must be received by August 1 for Fall term or 6 weeks prior to start of Winter, Spring, or Summer terms.
Late requests or missing materials may cause postponement until the next term.
