The Community-Based Learning Volunteer Opportunities Newsletter allows students, faculty, and staff at PCC a more comprehensive look at volunteer needs and opportunities from our community partners. As of Fall 2014, the newsletter is a compilation of recent announcements posted on CBL's Blog. The newsletter is published in email format on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Our hope is that the newsletter will allow subscribers to stay better informed about community service opportunities in the tri-county areas of Portland, Oregon, as well as non-profit internships and scholarships available locally and nationally.
Announcements will be listed in the most upcoming newsletter unless otherwise noted in the submission. The newsletter is published on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
DEADLINE: The deadline to submit for the newsletter is the Friday evening (5pm) prior to Monday publication.
All announcements are reviewed for content and clarity. The Community-Based Learning Program Office reserves the right to edit or reject all submissions. Repeat announcements are discouraged and will be made at the discretion of the Community-Based Learning Program Office. Announcements should be broadly relevant to the Portland Community College community. Submissions should relate to community-based learning, service-learning, community service, volunteerism, and/or social change opportunities offered by non-profit and non-partisan organizations. Announcements can address volunteer opportunities in the Portland, OR region as well as non-profit internships, summer, post-graduate, and international opportunities, jobs, scholarships, fellowships, and training.
