What We Do

SCRAP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that inspires creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior. We offer inexpensive materials to the community for creative projects, as well as educational programming.

SCRAP has a retail store open to the public seven days a week. We accept material donations from individuals and businesses Tue-Sun, 11am-6pm. In the last fiscal year, SCRAP diverted 115 tons of materials from the waste stream.

Opportunities for service with us

SCRAP has ongoing volunteer opportunities in a few different areas. Most of our volunteers work a three hour shift once a week in the retail store helping us to organize, price, package and sort donated materials.

Volunteers also take part in event planning, event support, field trips and tours at SCRAP, Camp SCRAP, our Re:Vision Gallery Committee, and administrative tasks.
