What We Do

ThinkFirst-Oregon is part of a national non-profit organization working with teachers, educators and community groups to reduce the risk of brain and spinal cord injury through community education and outreach. 

We teach injury prevention to kids K-12 in classroom, are involved in community events, train people to teach a senior fall prevention program, and teach a senior fall prevention program twice a year.

Opportunities for service with us

Opportunities to become a fall prevention instructor. Position is unpaid and requires attending an eight hour training. Teaching injury prevention classes. Training required is 3  hours. Assisting at various community events including Kid Fest in October and January as well as Safe Kids at the Zoo in May.
