The WorkSource Forest Grove Employment and Training Center is open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm.

  • Do you want to Improve your Interview Skills? We have workshops for you to look at behavioral based questions, learn how to answer them, and what they reveal. Practice interview questions to show weaknesses and start improving your answers.

  • We have weekly Networking Groups- Job searching club with discussions about job openings, interviewing techniques, using the Career Information Systems, resume writing techniques, and more.

  • Use the Internet to access and apply for jobs in our resource room.

  • Do you have an effective resume and cover letter? We have classes designed for those with little to no resume/cover letter writing experience as well as help for the advanced writer.

  • Do you need to learn how to type or increase your typing speed? Do you need to learn 10-key by touch? Come use our Mavis Beacon software in the resource room.

  • Resources available in our resource rooms include:  a fax machine for local faxes, computers for job search, laser printers to print out professional quality applications and resumes, up-to-date reference books for job search, resource room staff assistance, a typewriter, local newspapers and more.

Job Leads

Come to an orientation Tuesday or Wednesday from 1pm - 3pm. Find out what how we can assist you in your job search.

  • Obtain job referrals from the Employment Department staff.

  • Match yourself to employer job leads by posting your resume in iMatch.

  • Would you like to speak with someone one-on-one about your job search? Do you need career counseling?

  • Do you need training to help you obtain a better position?

  • Job Search Calendar and Workshop Descriptions in English and Spanish.
