Bookstore Return Policies

Textbook Return Policy

  • All returns must be accompanied by the dated receipt and ID.
  • Refunds: First 10 days of Fall, Winter, and Spring terms. First 7 days of modular and Summer Terms.
  • Textbooks must be in same condition as when purchased.
  • New Textbooks returned with any damage will be credited at used price.
  • Refund may be mailed when circumstances warrant or when refund exceeds $100.00.
  • Manufacturer defects will be replaced if returned with receipt within 30 days.
  • Shrink Wrapped Textbook Return Policy: As above plus the following.
  • Same condition as when purchased with all original components.
  • Any disks or CD-Roms must still be in the original SEALED packaging.

Electronics Return Policy

  • Product must be accompanied by original dated sales receipt.
  • Product must be in the original unopened shrink-wrap package.
  • Product must be in same condition as when purchased.
  • Product must be returned within 10 calendar days of date of purchase.
  • Defective items will be exchanged within 30 days of purchase when accompanied by the original sales receipt.

Software Return Policy

  • Product must be accompanied by original dated sales receipt.
  • Product must be in the original unopened shrink-wrapped package.
  • Product must be returned within 10 calandar days of date of purchase.
  • **Note: This does not apply to any AutoDesk Software Products. All AutoDesk defective products must be exchanged by the publisher of the product. This is an AutoDesk policy.
  • Also note that manufacturer's 30 day customer satisfaction guarantees must be handled through the company offering that policy.

Hardware Return Policy

  • Computer hardware products are not returnable unless approved by the hardware manufacturer. Otherwise, all computer hardware product sales are final.
  • Please refer to the manufacturer's warranty policies and/or the manufacturer concerning your product return.
  • All other computer hardware products which prove to be defective within 15 days, PCC Bookstore will exchange for same product when accompanied by original dated sales receipt.
  • After 30 days, the customer will be referred to the manufacturer.
