The Club Fair
Every term, the Clubs and Programs Office holds a club recruitment fair in the main hallway of the Student Center, between the library and cafeteria. During this week club leaders are invited to create displays and staff a table in the hallway to recruit new members. As part of the club fair, the Clubs Office will put out a new roster for students to sign-up. The following week you should plan to meet with the Clubs and Programs Specialist to pick up the contact information for new members. It is also a good idea to hold a “welcome new members” event to get them integrated with the rest of the group.
The Club Convention
On the third Friday of the fall, winter and spring terms, the Clubs and Programs Office holds a leadership conference designed specifically for clubs. This is a great opportunity to meet club leaders from other campuses, network, plan district-wide events and have fun! As a club leader you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this fantastic resource.
