Bike Program Staff
"I've been riding a bike my whole life. I grew up in Europe where people see biking as an everyday thing. About five years ago I got into building them and fixing them more seriously, after my bike got stolen and I had no money to buy a new one! I taught myself a lot, but also began volunteering at bike shops around town to learn more skills. I got certified as mechanic by UBI in Portland this year, and I like to build fixies and single speed bikes, as well as restoring vintage rides. Its also my goal to build a touring bike by the summer of 2013 - I hope to ride my bike down to California!"
