Committee Feedback on Recommendations:
- Include Library Services
- Consider Narrowing the scope by implementing Rdg 80 + 90 first
- Advance the option to retest the placement test
- Maintain ideas for bridge courses, study skills, front-loaded classes
- Involve faculty in all “narrowing the scope” decisions
- Involve IT early in Enrollment Services
- Focus on ENNL students’ transition
- (Mth 111 – HPE 295 not) necessary for transfer
- Human contact/live conversation right after placement as a goal
- Triangulate placement test w/high school coursework, retest, other scores
- Provide brush-up courses prior to placement and on-line preparation
