- Recommendations for an accredited Educational program for the Ophthalmic Medical Technician and Ophthalmic Medical technologist by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) See attached

OMT Faculty Requirements:
- Current credential as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Ophthalmic Medical Technology
- Minimum one (1) year (preferably 3 years) clinical work experience in an ophthalmic practice
