- National League for Nursing Board recommendation that All full- and part-time faculty have a master’s degree with a major in nursing.

Certified Nursing Assistant
From the State of Oregon –
For a nursing assistant training program, the Program Director or Primary Instructor may:
- Involve as trainers for a specific portion of the nursing assistant training, other licensed nursing personnel or other licensed health care professionals who have at least one year of experience in their field.
- Use an approved Clinical Instructor who shall:
Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Oregon; and
Have the equivalent of one year full time experience as a register nurse. - Use an approved Clinical Preceptor who shall:
Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice nursing in Oregon; and
Have the equivalent of at least one year of experience as a registered nurse.
