ED - Education Instructor Qualifications
ED Requirements:
Instructional Assistant/Library Media Instructor
Required:
- Master’s Degree in subject area, such as education, library, media OR
- Master’s Degree in any related area plus 2 years of a combination of teaching and non-teaching work experience in the field.

Media Instructor
Required:
- Same requirements as Assistant/Library Media Instructor OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in subject area plus 3 years of a combination of teaching and on-teaching work experience in the field. OR
- Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 4 years of a combination of teaching and non-teaching work experience in the field. OR
- AAS Degree in subject area or professional education plus 5 years of a combination of teaching and non-teaching work experience in the field. OR
- Demonstrate competency with a minimum of 30 quarters of upper division course work in the subject area plus 5 years of combination of teaching and non-teaching work experience in the field.
