DS - Diesel Service Technology Instructor Qualifications

DS Requirements:

Professional Technical

Preferred Experience:
  • Minimum of two years teaching Diesel Service Technology at an accredited institution
  • OR
  • Two years recent industry experience in Diesel Technology repair operations, in accordance with current industry standards
  • OR
  • Two years combination of related teaching and industry experience as described above AND have the ability to work positively with students AND some experience working or teaching the technical area specific to the subject being taught.

ENNL

  • Instructors in the area of Developmental Education must meet one of the following requirements: Master’s Degree in appropriate educational field ( for example, special/ developmental/ adult education, reading, math English) AND recent experience working with disadvantaged students (DE Math and English)
  • OR
  • Have a high level of demonstrable competency gained through a combination of study, teaching experience, and/ or professional performance in the subject area (DE English)
  • OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Math Ed of Ed with a math emphasis AND three years equivalent full-time teaching experience in mathematics within grades 6-16 (DE Math)
