SC - Margaret Carter Skill Center Instructor Qualifications

Required:

  1. Master’s Degree in Education, Adult Education, or related field.
  2. Two years full-time equivalent teaching experience in Applied Math, Writing, Reading and/or Science to non-traditional, disadvantaged, multi-cultural, and/or at-risk students.
  3. Have basic computer skills including MS Word, E-mail and Internet access.

OR

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or related field.
  2. Three years full-time equivalent teaching experience in Applied Math, Writing, Reading and/or Science to non-traditional, disadvantaged, multi-cultural, and/or at-risk students.
  3. Have basic computer skills including MS Word, E-mail and Internet access.

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Special Education, Reading, Writing, Math, Science.
