EMS -- Emergency Medical Services Instructor Qualifications
EMS 100
- Certification level at EMT-Basic or higher.
- American Heart Association Core Instructor Course, or NFPA Instructor I Certification, or NAEMSE EMT Instructor Course, or equivalent.
- Documented training in the following topics: Blood borne Pathogens, Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations, and Incident Command System.
EMS 105, 106, 120
- Currently certified Oregon EMT-Basic or higher in good standing with OR DHS
- AHA BLS Instructor Certified
- Three years experience at or above level being taught
- At least one of the following: NFPA Instructor 1, NAEMSE EMT Instructor, DPSST Instructor I and II, transcripted 3 credits adult learning theory, or equivalent
- Math 65 or higher present on transcript

EMS 113, 115, 118
- Certification level at EMT-Basic or higher.

- American Heart Association Core Instructor Course, or NFPA Instructor I Certification, or NAEMSE EMT Instructor Course, or equivalent.
- Documented training in Emergency Vehicle Operations or five years emergency vehicle operations experience.
- Math 65 or higher present on transcript
