Policy Committee
- Introductions and EAC review.
- Continuation of SAC jurisdiction issue and the current academic policy: We have a revision draft of the current policy strengthening the language regarding SAC involvement when it comes to curriculum matters.
- The 5-year rule for math and writing courses: we will hear both sides of this issue, and hope to have a few guests presenting their views.
- All on-line degrees: what’s the best way to have a college-wide discussion regarding students who take all their courses on-line?
- The audit/P/NP grading policy: if we have time, we’ll consider whether this issue has policy implications (or whether it’s a matter of communicating current policies and fostering consistency around the district).
- Scheduling the winter meetings.
