Following is a list of web addresses for frequently used and helpful resources in developing curriculum at PCC.     Information about the Degrees and Certificates Committee (a standing committee of the EAC), Agendas, Minutes, other information related to degrees and certificate changes at PCC.

    These guides provide an overview of the entire curriculum process from an idea to approval by the state. They are not completely inclusive, but help provide the steps you may need to follow beyond the EAC committee’s processes.

    Information on instructional tools, course redesign, and funding sources are available at this location.

    This documents set the parameters we must follow from the State of Oregon in developing and revising curriculum. This includes Credit, non-credit, course, and program development information. Information regarding differences between Professional Technical, Occupational Supplementary, Stand-Alone, and Community Education courses can be found in this document.

    This catalog provides guidance in assigning new course numbers as well as providing a master list of institutions which currently offer particular Lower Division Collegiate Courses.
  • Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development Department (http://www.oregon.gov/ccwd/)
    This is the homepage for the primary agency with the State of Oregon which is charged with oversight of community colleges and workforce training agencies. Also has links to partnerships, eligible training providers, administrative rules, and other resources.
  • Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (http://www.nwccu.org)
    This is the body which has granted accreditation to PCC. This site contains their accreditation polices and guidelines. PCC has been accredited with NWCCU since 1970.
