The Panther Path
An intentional path to student success & goal completion
PCC prioritized the development of a framework to guide students through their academic journey.
Five overlapping stages were defined:
Entering students will be academically, personally, and financially prepared and will be able to navigate the PCC system successfully on day one of classes.
Students will choose their path, ensure they are equipped to travel, and engage companions and guides.
Students will commit to implementing their academic success plan by managing work, life, and school demands, and utilizing resources to reach educational goals in and outside of the classroom.
Students will succesfully complete their educational goal and develop post-completion strategies for next steps.
Students will celebrate completion and thrive as members of the workforce who participate in society as life long learners.
