Any person interested in supporting the mission of AAWCC, to inspire, champion, and celebrate the talents within each of us, may become a member on the local, state, and/or national level. We encourage you to join your local PCC chapter and get involved on the local level.
Fall Membership Drive Going on Now!
Annual dues for the Portland Community College chapter are $15.00. The majority of your dues go to a scholarship fund benefiting the personal and professional development of PCC women. Join today during our Fall Membership Drive and be entered into a raffle to win dinner for two and theatre tickets!

- October 16: A Chorus Line
- See Julianne Johnson's production of "A Chorus Line" at Stumptown Stages. AAWCC members and non-members are welcome to attend for the student price on that night (thanks to the generosity of Stumptown Stages!) Buy your ticket online at: http://stumptownstages.com/current.html and choose the Student price of $15. You will have to identify yourself as "from PCC" at the box office the night of the show. Let Karen Sorensen know if you plan to attend and want to arrange to meet before for dinner/drinks and sit together.
- October 22: Broadway Play
Going out on the town to see the 2008 Tony Award winner for Best Play, August: Osage County.
- November 11: Volunteer at the Oregon Food Bank
- Volunteer with AAWCC re-packaging food for families at the Oregon Food Bank from 10am to noon.
- November 12: Local Wine making/tasting at Sip Devine

- November 18: Earring Making Workshop at Cascade SSB 103 from 11:30am to 1pm

- Early registration cost of $175 until November 3rd. See the AAWCC-Oregon website for more information about this wonderful annual conference. AAWCC-PCC has two scholarships available. To apply, send a letter of interest to Cherie Maas-Anderson by November 13. AAWCC-Oregon has scholarships too.

New AAWCC - PCC Cookbook on sale! It's only $10! Buy it from any AAWCC Board Member , at the PCC Sylvania Bookstore or now Online. Thank you to all who contributed!
Proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go to supporting scholarships for professional development, quarterly luncheons, scholarships for the AAWCC fall conference and much more!
It's also not too late to buy the 2007 edition.
