*Though Concordia may accept some of PCC's 100/200 level courses in lieu of their junior or senior level counterparts, students will need to fulfill the minimum number of 300/400 level credits required for graduation at Concordia.
All Education majors at Concordia must satisfy requirements for two licensure levels. The combinations include Early Childhood and Elementary, or Elementary and Middle School, or Middle School and High School. Additional courses may be needed to satisfy educational endorsements in specialty areas.
Students pursuing a high school licensure must choose from the following endorsements: Art, Biology, Business, Business and Marketing, Chemistry, Health, Health and PE, Language Arts, Marketing, Mathematics (basic or advanced), Physical Education, or Social Studies.
Some of the endorsement requirements may be taken at PCC as part of an Associate's degree. Contact Concordia's Transfer Advisor for more information. In addition to the departmental requirements listed above, students also must complete coursework for university admission, general education requirements, (if not completing an AAOT), and BA requirements. Meet with a PCC Academic Advisor to develop an effective transfer plan that will meet your individual needs.
