In order to begin evening/weekend schedule courses at George Fox, you must have at least 31 semester or 47 quarter hours of credit.
For admission to a major cohort you need at least 62 semester or 93 quarter credits. If you have less, you will need to complete some general education courses. Contact an admissions counselor for a free evaluation of your credits at 503-554-6165. Most PCC courses with letter prefix and numbered 100-299 are acceptable with the following exceptions: Technical courses and those with numbers less than 100 will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis. A maximum of 18 quarter hours of practicum or Cooperative Work Experience will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis.

‣ Provide Personal and Academic/Professional Reference forms
‣ Submit sealed, official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
‣ Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
‣ Have a minimum of five years post-high school work experience (documented with a resume)
‣ Submit an application fee of $40.00
‣ Students applying to the Major must submit a written essay that demonstrates competency needed for success in
the program. This requirement is waived for students who have completed MGOL 260 Personal and Professional
Assessment.
Each cohort consists of approximately 20 students. Courses are designed with the working adult in mind. They meet one evening a week from 6pm-10pm and six or seven Saturday mornings from 8 am to noon. Each course lasts for 8 weeks.

Humanities:Humanities courses generally are from the areas of Art, Ethics, History, Literature, Philosophy, Music, and Theatre. Students must have credits from at least two different areas. Of the 12 semester credits, up to 6 semester credits may be from areas considered to be “Fine Arts”--Art, Music, and Theatre. Of the 6 Fine Arts credits, up to 3 credits may be of an applied nature (i.e., acting, sculpting,drawing, etc.). Only one Bible course (up to 3 semester credits) may be used in the Humanities area. Up to 6 semester credits of a foreign language can count toward the Humanities requirement, as long as it is a 200-level course or higher.
