OIT/Chemeketa Dental Hygiene (Salem, OR)
The bachelor degree program is a partnership between OIT and CCC. The classrooms and dental hygiene clinic will be in CCC’s new Health & Science Building that is currently under construction. Dental hygiene classes will be taught on the CCC campus with an occasional mix of online learning. Students will have the opportunity to learn and practice dental hygiene skills in the campus-based clinic where they will see patients.
The program requires one year of prerequisite (pre-dental hygiene) coursework prior to entry into the professional program. Enrollment in the professional program will be limited to 20 students. Enrollment in pre-dental hygiene courses is open to anyone meeting CCC admission requirements.
PCC endeavors to create accurate transfer guides for students; however, requirements may change without notice. Students are responsible for working with PCC advisors and their transfer institution to ensure that their academic plan will meet requirements and timelines.
