Dental Laboratory Technology - Program Overview
To become a dental lab technician, one should complete a two year course of study in an accredited program. PCC has a fully accredited Dental Lab Technology program by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
The curriculum is offered during the daytime hours between 8am and 5pm for first-year students, and moves into the late afternoon and evening hours for second-year students. This schedule allows advanced students to work in entry-level positions part-time while going to school. Students also have the advantage of working with practicing dental technicians in the advanced labs which are held in the evenings.
