Aviation Science Orientation
Orientations
A live orientation has been scheduled for the following dates and times at the Hillsboro Aviation - Troutdale airport campus. No reservations are required.
- Thursday, June 14, 5-8 pm
- Wednesday, August 22, 5-8pm
Live orientations have also been scheduled at the Rock Creek Campus in Building 6, Room 110.
- May 3, 6-8:30pm
- July 26, 6-8:30pm
Attendance at one of the Aviation Science orientations is required prior to being admitted into the program. If attendance is not possible due to location, provisional acceptance may be granted until the orientation can be attended. Please make a note on your application when you submit it and we will work with you to find a date when you can attend.
You must apply and be
admitted to the Aviation Science program before registering for any
class except AVS-127: Intro to Aviation. The orientation includes
information
about:

- Pilot career paths
- The Aviation Science courses
- Flight training
- Registering for classes
- Four year degree partnerships
