Agricultural Mechanics
Associate of Applied Science Degree
114 credits
At Rock Creek Campus.
As an agricultural mechanic, you will maintain, repair and overhaul
farm machinery, such as pumps, hydraulic systems, tilling equipment,
trucks and other mechanized, electrically powered or motor-driven
equipment on farms or in farm equipment repair shops.
The first year offers a foundation in the field of agricultural
mechanics. In the second year of the program, your time can be
divided between classroom work and field experience. A number
of flexible features have been built into the curriculum. If
you don't want a degree, you may take only the courses that interest
you. We can arrange individualized programs to suit your needs.
Also, you can spread the study time over a longer period, combining
a limited number of hours each term with full-time employment. |
