PAVTEC Staff Development Task Force

Summary of Accomplishments for 2000 - 2001

1. Provide coordination and oversight of PAVTEC Consolidated Funding Program.
2. Sponsor and coordinate Educator Internships through the Business Education Compact (BEC).
3. Promote and, when appropriate, assist financially other staff development activities.
   1. PCC - High School PTE Connections Forum
   2. Annual OCCVA Conference
   3. Portland Human Resources Management Association (PHRMA) Take An Educator To Work Day
   4. Information Technology Summer Institute (August, 2000) and workshop (November, 2000)
   5. other workshops/seminars focusing on contextual learning activities, use of technology in the teaching-learning process, technical skill development for teachers, e.g., Cisco training, etc.
