Careers in Government and Public Administration require a high level of competency in math, reading and writing.

- You must be able to communicate both in written and oral communication and effectively translate your thoughts and ideas to a variety of people. Speech and debate classes are recommended.

- Take the highest courses possible. Statistics is recommended. Depending on your career goal, you may need to take calculus in college. Proficiency is based on specific field and major.
