Education Pathway

Why Choose A Career in Education?

teacher speaking to student

Think about young children and their thirst for knowledge. Now think about being the one who teaches them, the one who shapes their minds and introduces them to the love of learning. Think about education, academics and lasting impressions.

If you walk down the Education Pathway you could find yourself teaching a classroom full of kindergarten students, showing students the ins and outs of a library or talking to youngsters about what they want to do with their lives.

If you feel comfortable in a classroom and enjoy school, then this could be the pathway for you.

Are you a natural leader? Do you like to teach others? Do you have ideas on how to operate a day care center or school?

Then consider a career as a teacher, librarian, counselor, principal or child care provider. Overall employment of kindergarten, elementary, middle and secondary school teachers is expected to increase over the next decade to replace an aging teaching workforce. Still not sure? Not to worry as there are more jobs focused on Education.
