Required Academic Admission Standards

Below are the required admission standards for the different PCC Options Programs.   

11th and 12th grade status required:

• PCC Dual Credit
  • Professional Technical (PT)
  • Lower Division Collegiate (LDC)
• Expanded Options Program (EOP) Senate Bill 300
  • as well as a minimum placement into PCC Reading 115, Writing 115 and Math 60

8th grade reading level required:

• Gateway to College-High School Completion Program 

3rd grade reading level in English required:

• Multicultural Academic Program (MAP)

Student must be 18 years old:

• Culinary Assistant & Custodial Program

Must be accepted for enrollment and placed in GED classes:

• Youth Empowered to Succeed (YES)

No academic admission standards required:

• Credit Recovery
• PCC High School Completion (HSC)
• Open Enrollment/Home School
