Would You Like to Be a Presenter?

Thank you for being willing to spend part of a day explaining what you do in your occupation to eight, ninth and tenth grade young women. The 15th Annual Young Women's Career Conference is being held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 8:30-1:30pm at Portland Community College's Rock Creek Campus.

The day will start with registration at 8:30am, a welcome at 9:30am, breakout sessions starting at 10:25am and ending at 1:30pm with lunch between the second and third sessions.

We ask that you give three 40 minute sessions what are either simple hands-on activities or interactive discussions that are engaging and paint a picture of the many aspects of your occupation. Feel free to include why you chose your profession, what activities you do that are particularly enjoyable and satisfying, and what courses you took to become proficient in your field.
