Attending Portland Community College After High School

If you’ve earned PCC Dual Credit while in high school and plan on attending PCC after graduating, here a few things you should know…

  • You are already admitted as a student…you do not need to apply to Admissions and pay the $25 fee, unless two years lapse by.
     
  • You already have access to MyPCC, which is an online community for students, faculty and staff.  It is a secure site which allows you to check your PCC email, register for courses, pay tuition and much, much more.  To access your MyPCC site, visit www.my.pcc.edu and follow these directions to set up your account: 
  1. As a first time user click on the ‘First Time User?’ link underneath the login button, you will be asked to set your password, which needs to be at least nice characters containing letters and numbers. Clock Save Changes when you’re done.
  2. As a first time user, you will also be asked to create a secret questions and the answer. If you later forget your password, you can ask for the secret question and entering the answer will allow you to set a new password for your account. Click Save Changes.
  3. Return to the main login screen. Type your user name. This is your first and last name separated by a period (example: john.doe). Some users will have a number that follows their last name. If you’re not sure what your user name is, click the ‘Login Help’ link to find out.
  4. Type your password. If this is your first time loggin into MyPCC, your password will be your birthdate (example: May 6, 1983 = 050683). If you forget your password, click the ‘Login Help’ link to use your secret question to set a new password.
  5. Click the Login button.

  • By accessing MyPCC, you can view the PCC course schedule and register for classes on the college campus.
