Attending Portland Community College After
High School
If you’ve earned PCC Dual Credit while in high
school and plan on attending PCC after
graduating, here a few things you should know…
-
You are already admitted as a student…you do
not need to apply to Admissions and pay the
$25 fee, unless two years lapse by.
-
You already have access to
MyPCC, which is an online community for
students, faculty and staff. It is a secure
site which allows you to check your PCC
email, register for courses, pay tuition and
much, much more. To access your MyPCC site,
visit
www.my.pcc.edu
and follow these directions to set up your
account:
-
As a first time user
click on the ‘First Time User?’
link underneath the login button, you
will be asked to set your password,
which needs to be at least nice
characters containing letters and
numbers. Clock Save Changes when
you’re done.
-
As a first time user, you
will also be asked to create a secret
questions and the answer. If you later
forget your password, you can ask for
the secret question and entering the
answer will allow you to set a new
password for your account. Click Save
Changes.
-
Return to the main login
screen. Type your user name. This is
your first and last name separated by a
period (example: john.doe). Some users
will have a number that follows their
last name. If you’re not sure what your
user name is, click the ‘Login Help’
link to find out.
-
Type your password. If
this is your first time loggin into
MyPCC, your password will be your
birthdate (example: May 6, 1983 =
050683). If you forget your password,
click the ‘Login Help’ link to
use your secret question to set a new
password.
-
Click the Login
button.
