PAVTEC Council

The PAVTEC Council is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, directing, and evaluating the Consortium activities. It develops an annual strategic plan and strategies to implement that plan and has decision-making and budgetary authority for the Consortium. Council members represent PAVTEC constituency and are teachers, principals, district administrators, college faculty and administrators, counselors, school-to-work practitioners, and representatives from business and industry. The Council helps to provide a forum and the supportive services for collaborative program planning, development and improvement of career and workforce preparation programs in Oregon's PTE Region IX. Anyone is invited to attend and participate in the meetings.

The official voting membership consists of:

  • representatives from each of 11 school districts
  • representatives from each of 4 PCC campuses
  • three task force chairs
  • PCC Director of Academic Services
  • W&EC Regional Coordinator
  • PPS Regional Coordinator
  • NWRESD
  • Workforce Development Board
