The ARTstor Library includes approximately 300,000 images covering art, architecture and archeology. ARTstor's software tools support a wide range of uses including: viewing and analyzing images through features such as zooming and panning, saving groups of images online for personal or shared uses, and creating and delivering presentations both online and offline. You must register to save any images for future reference and to use ARTstor's sophisticated presentation tools.

You also must register to access ARTstor from off-campus.

BIOSIS Previews is the "world's most comprehensive reference database for life science research" and biology. It provides citations to research studies, abstracts of books and meeting presentations. Indexes nearly 5,500 serials. Coverage is from 1990 to 2004.

Books in Print is not a library catalog; it is used to identify the prices and publishers for titles,  and to establish whether a title is available for purchase.

Books in Print online is a combined set of  R.R. Bowker's  Books in PrintComplete Video Directory; Publisher Authority Database; Forthcoming Books; Children's Books in Print; and Books Out-of-Print. 3.5 million title records; 500,000 text reviews. The Publisher Authority database has records for 165,000 publishers and distributors. Additional features are searches for Award Winning Titles and Media Sources.

ERIC via EBSCOhost
ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, contains more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.

ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center at the US Department of Education. You have to register, but it is free and fairly brief. A good place to look for many "ED" documents. (ED Stands for Educational Document- Lesson Plans, Studies, etc) If you have an EJ citation (Educational Journals), try EBSCO's Academic Search Premier and Professional Development Collection before putting in an interlibrary loan request.

MLA Bibliography via EBSCOhost
