Room Reservation Guidelines

Group study rooms

  • Reservations are limited to 2 hours to maximize access for all users.
  • Repeat reservations on these rooms will not be accepted.
  • A group that is more than 10 minutes late loses the reservation. A single individual may not hold the room for the group.
  • If the room is not reserved, use is on a first-come first-serve basis for groups or for individual study, however single users will be asked to relinquish the room for a group.
  • Be aware that study rooms are not sound proofed
  • If you need to cancel a reservation or need assistance, please call or email library staff

Library instruction room/computer lab

  • During the first few weeks of the quarter, library instruction classes receive first priority in scheduling library instruction classrooms.
  • Requests for instructional classes taught by librarians must be made at least one week in advance.
  • Please fill out the library instruction form or call your campus librarian to schedule.
  • Trainers and instructors who wish to teach in a computer-classroom without the help of a librarian must 1) reserve the room and 2) reserve up to 20 wireless laptop computers (Cascade only). No administrative network access will be available (i.e., no PCC Intranet or Banner).
  • Requests for rooms will be approved/disapproved once each business day, Monday through Friday.
  • Covered drinks allowed.
  • Library rooms are available only during library open hours.

Meeting rooms

  • The library is a quiet study area. The use of the library meeting rooms should conform appropriately.
  • Food and drinks are welcome. Please return room to original condition.
