Finding Books

  • Start at the library home page
  • Select the "Books" tab
  • Type a search term or phrase in the box (like global warming)
  • Select the "Search books" button
  • Limit the results by using the "Refine Your Search" links on the left of the screen

Finding Movies

  • Start at the library home page
  • Select the "Video" tab
  • Type a search term in the box (like alzheimer's)
  • Select the "Search Video" button
  • Limit the results by using the "Format" links on the left to limit to VHS, DVD, eVideo, or a combination of those

Using Advanced Search

  • Start at the library home page
  • Select the [Advanced search] link
  • Type search terms in at least one of the Keyword, Title or Author boxes
  • Limit results by library, publication date, format (such as eBook)
  • Click the blue "Search" button
