Oregon Career Information System Provides comprehensive career information for Oregonians. Try looking up "environmental scientist" to see what the requirements, job prospects, and rewards of this career might be!

Occupational Outlook Handbook The national career information resource, from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. How many jobs will there be in conservation science and forestry in 2014? The OOH can help you figure out what careers will be in demand, what training you'll need, and where people find jobs.

National Association of Environmental Professionals Maintains lists of current job opportunities and student internships, plus a calendar of meetings and events.

Jobweb.com's list of environmental professional associations includes some more specialized organizations. Professional associations usually provide great, up-to-date information about careers.

Careers at EPA includes information about summer and part-time student internships as well as career opportunities. The "Life at EPA" feature offers a look at several people who work at EPA; find out what it's really like!
