Checkout of library materials
Acceptable identification
- Borrowers must present a valid PCC identification card or other acceptable identification in order to check out materials.

Return of materials
- General circulation materials may be returned to any PCC campus library.
- Reserve materials must be returned to the library from which they were checked out.
Check out between terms
- Students may checkout items between terms if they have completed registration for the following term. Otherwise, students can be registered as a guest during the time between terms.
PCC faculty and staff
- General circulation materials may be checked out until
the end of the current term and may be renewed for one additional term.
- Items
needed by students are subject to recall after 2 weeks.
- To allow maximum
access to materials by all library users, the library requests that faculty
and staff return materials promptly.
- Faculty and staff needing books and audiovisual
materials longer than the allotted loan period should arrange purchase
of their own copies.
- The library will charge faculty and staff with the replacement cost of unreturned materials.
