Daisy got very excited about reading from a book in the library.

I love my little Piglet.  She is my best friend, companion and comic relief.  Whenever I am down, it does not take her long to cheer me up.  Daisy and I are honored that you voted for her in the Portland Community College Library 2010 Best Friends Photo Album Contest.  Daisy loves PCC Sylvania; so much, you might even be able to catch a glimpse of us walking around campus from time to time.

In my back yard, I have a large Koi pond with a beautiful waterfall feature.  Daisy loves to get up into the water fall and plug up the flow with her big butt.  When enough water has accumulated behind her, she jumps straight up in the air in order to let the water flow again.  Quickly she snaps at the rushing water trying to catch and swallow as much as she can before it all goes into the pond.  Once the water returns to its regular flow, she will plop her body down again and start the process all over again.  If I allow her, she will do this all day long without stopping.

In order to distract my little Pork Chop from the waterfall, I bought her a kiddy pool (it is also a nice way for her to keep cool during those hot summer days).  As I start to drag out the hose, her excitement is obvious.  I see her fur start to stand on end and she gets a crazed look about her eyes.  I cringe and prepare myself for the onslaught of what will be once again a flying brick of slobber and fur.  I attempt to drop the hose in the kiddy pool, but once I turn on the water, she grabs the end and tosses it all over the place.  Water goes everywhere, except the pool.

Another favorite activity Daisy loves at the beach is surfing!  Yes, she will ride that boogie board as best she can, then chew it like it was chopped liver.  People on the beach will stop and watch as I drag her surf board along in the surf and call to her to jump on.  As I run along in the shallow water and above the loud sound of the waves, I hear people laughing and see them pointing out of the corner of my eye.  Daisy will be cleverly riding along, but then will suddenly jump off, chew and gulp some more water and then climb back on the board and bark at me to pull her some more.
