Use the library catalog to search for materials to borrow.

Current enrollment is required for Summit and Interlibrary loan borrowing.

Who can borrow?

PCC faculty, staff, currently registered students, Orbis Cascade Alliance members and retired PCC Faculty/Staff can borrow library materials. Valid identification is required.

How long can materials be kept?

Most library materials check out for 21 days while videos and music CDs check out for 7 days.  Fines will be charged to your PCC account if you keep an item out longer than its due date.  Fines for PCC materials are $.25 per day for most items, $.25 per hour for reserves, $10 per hour for technology equipment, or the price of the item as listed in the library system if the item is lost. Fines for Summit materials are .$25 per day for most items, $1 per day for short-loan items, or $90 if the item is lost.  See loan periods and fines for additional information.

  • ID: Alumni lifetime card (PCC Alumni) or Community Patron Cards (guests)
  • Checkout: 21 days except no checkout of calculators, digital cameras, laptops, reserves or Summit items.

  • Renewal: 1 time (none if item is on hold)

  • Checkout: 6 weeks or 6 days (short-term loan)
