Library instruction classes
The Libraries offer a variety of instruction opportunities for classes and individuals.
Reference librarians can arrange customized instruction sessions designed to introduce classes to library research. Each library has an electronic classroom where online catalogs, full-text periodical databases, and web resources can be demonstrated. In many cases we can create web pages tailored to a class or an assignment.
Most instruction is interactive and is done in the libraries, but if you just want a brief demo it might be possible for a librarian to come to your classroom. Please call us to discuss the options.
Instructors should call as early in the term as possible so a convenient time can be reserved.
