I manage public services, library operations and the staff who provide front line customer service -- with the exception of library faculty. The Circulation Services staff keeps the library running and makes sure the library is a welcoming place conducive to learning. We work hard to assure that you can find what you need on our shelves and move hundreds of thousands of items from campus to campus and to 37 Orbis - Cascade Alliance member institutions. When we can’t find something for you locally or in the northwest we try to get it through Interlibrary Loan.

We provide copyright services support, create course packs, put supplementary instructor materials on reserve and also make many items available electronically from our website. We schedule videos and DVDs for classroom use; and we operate a student computer lab. Circulation Services is here to help, we even provide free coffee during finals week!

When I’m not working I enjoy calligraphy, walking and I’m an avid fan of live theater; needless to say, I love to read. I’ve recently started bicycling on my new cruiser; like me, it’s built for comfort not for speed.

I’ve been at PCC for over 20 years, before that I worked at the Beaverton High School Library for 11 years, and when I retire, I’m going to find a part time job checking out books in a Public Library. I love libraries and I love helping the people who use them.
