I am a Reference and Instruction Librarian here at PCC Library. I work at Sylvania primarily, but you may see me subbing at one of the other campus reference desks from time to time. For the Fall term of ’09 I am filling for Flora Lippert as the Electronic Resources Librarian, managing the database subscriptions, fixing glitches, and keeping the database pages on the library website up to date.

I was born, raised, and educated in Buffalo, NY. I earned my Bachelors degree in English in 2002, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as my Master of Library Science degree in 2004. My first job after library school was at a high school library called the Nichols School. After that I worked at the Butler Library of Buffalo State College as a Reference and Instruction Librarian, and also at Portland State University Library, once I finally made it to Portland in the fall of 2007.

When I’m not being a librarian I’m busy teaching the classical Pilates Method at various studios around Southeast Portland. I practice yoga and gung fu, as well. In my small amounts of free time I like to go hiking, hang out with friends, or just relax at home with my cats, bunny, and beau, watching anime, foreign films, reading on the couch, and drinking tea.
