Borrow a Book
To borrow a book, bring a valid PCC identification card to a campus library checkout desk. Lacking proof of registration, borrowing may still be done as a guest.
Guests and retired PCC Faculty/Staff can borrow books using a community patron card. Apply for this card at any campus library. Verification of residency in the college district with a current Oregon Driver’s License or Oregon ID is required. Retired PCC Faculty/Staff can apply for a "Lifetime card" through the PCC Foundation Office.
Borrowing limits
50 items (PCC Faculty, Staff, students); 2 items (Guests and retired PCC Faculty/Staff). See also: checkout chart
Returning books
Return borrowed items to any PCC Library. Each library has outside book drops (except Southeast Center), so materials can be returned at any time. Reserves must be returned to the same library checkout desk from which they were borrowed.
